We still had a great visit with Nancy and the Barnetts. The kids are getting so much older! The highlight for Willow was the REAL italian ice (she picked out coconut, watermelon and chocolate!).

Chicago
We headed up north for another quick but fun weekend in Chicago. We were supposed to head all the way up to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for our friend Marc's batchelor/batchelorette party, but we didn't end up making it. Illinois and Wisconsin experienced some of the craziest storms to date--the highway was flooded as were numerous side roads! I'd never seen so many uprooted trees as I saw along the lakefront.
We still had a great visit with Nancy and the Barnetts. The kids are getting so much older! The highlight for Willow was the REAL italian ice (she picked out coconut, watermelon and chocolate!).
