We had a miniature celebration for them, but hopefully will plan a bigger one later. Patrick's friends from Kenya who are students here, and some of their family visiting from Kenya, prepared a DELICIOUS vegan Kenyan dinner for us! Apparently it isn't too difficult since you just have to leave off the meat. Kenyans don't eat a lot of dairy. I can't say enough about the food (especially the cabbage).

Operation Green Freedom
At long last, our Kenyan friend Patrick has received his green card, which allows him to stay in the U.S. permanently with his daughter, Serena.
We had a miniature celebration for them, but hopefully will plan a bigger one later. Patrick's friends from Kenya who are students here, and some of their family visiting from Kenya, prepared a DELICIOUS vegan Kenyan dinner for us!
