My girls have taken a new interest in balancing our wooden blocks. They challenge themselves to see how high they can construct a tower balanced on one block. Upon Matt's suggestion, I pulled up this video in order to inspire them.
I've read about this incredible yogi before. He lives in the Pacific Northwest, and heads to its cold beaches to sit and balance rocks. Often it's an all-day affair that reaps no tangible outcome. When he is successful in finding that precise balance point, what transpires is awe-inspiring. He is in a deep meditative state and an artist at work. Many passersby will sit and watch for hours! When he is done, he always knocks down his creations for fear of them tumbling on a curious person or creature. Reminds me a bit of the artist featured in the documentary "Rivers and Tides". Shanti!
