The Playing Field

Oh how parenting changes with the second child. It has to. Circumstances surrounding this child's upbringing are completely different than the first. When you have one, you are ALWAYS on his/her team. When you have two, you are often pitted against one, despite all attempts at staying neutral.

The playing field is evening out as Autumn gets older. But for now, she still finds herself, more often than not, on the losing side (that is, until mom or dad steps in!).





One relishing in her victory while the other wallows in her defeat. We're soon to see this on a national level next Tuesday...I just hope I fall on Willow's side! (and that there are no mommies and daddies stepping in to change the rules or "even" the playing field!).
