Turning 33 was a great time. Good friends, drinks (well for some :), a little food and a lot of fun. We look forward to many more afternoons out on the deck (with the new deck furniture--the inside of our house has yet to be furnished but hey, priorities, right?!?).

Getting the kids to take a break from playing in order to eat is a bit of a challenge!
But veggie hotdogs and chips with guacamole did the trick (also noting that there's no cake without dinner didn't hurt!).

I had a little help blowing out the candle--the only candle in the house was the "2" candle my brother bought for Willow. Matt surprised me with the cake--he even found the icing recipe off the internet. What a guy!! It was DELICIOUS too!!
